Imagine Identity and Culture
Imagine IC sheds light on the culture and identity of migrants in the Netherlands from their own perspective. The institute collects personal histories and presents these in exhibitions, audiovisual programmes and digital productions. For example, Imagine IC organises digital video and photography workshops for young people. Senior citizens work on digital programmes to record their stories. Apart from collecting new visual productions, Imagine IC works on making archive material about migration history and cultural diversity accessible.
