Cosmic is a multicultural and intercultural production house with its own stage in Amsterdam. A meeting between cultures is the foundation of all the performances at Cosmic. Theatre producers from a range of cultures create productions and co-productions here. Cosmic encourages playwrights, directors, actors and dancers who are starting out in their careers. Cross fertilization with disciplines other than theatre is a key aspect of Cosmic. For example, there are projects in cooperation with the IDFA (film) and the Mondriaan Foundation (visual arts).
