| A grand rally
starts from the Institute of Fine Arts and goes
around the Dhaka University Campus on New Year’s
day. Every year students of this institute make
various kinds of very large colourful indigenous
masks of tigers, birds, fishes, flowers and
so on. At this rally men wear white Punjabi
and women wear white sari’s with
red borders.
