Baobabconnections is an online magazine for young people, which deals with globalisation and related themes. A great deal of attention is devoted to culture, the environment and gender issues. Contributions are submitted from all over the world, with the emphasis on Africa. Visitors can react to all the items, participate in discussions and chat with other visitors. There are also regular online competitions, such as a recent hip hop competition about AIDS.
The web site is an initiative of the Dutch organisation Both Ends, a foundation that works on sustainable development world-wide.
