The First Illustrated Edition of Constitution of Russian Federation

The Russian constitution celebrates its tenth anniversary in December of 2003. The S.Art Galerie in Moscow is taking this opportunity to link each of the 137 items in the constitution to a work of art. Thirty-three art works by leading Russian artists, which were previously displayed in the Gallery, can currently be seen on the web. In many cases, the works of art are funny, provocative or acerbic, and criticise the fact that the constitution is not sufficiently implemented in practice.
