Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA)

RAWA, The Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan, is an independent human rights organisation that was already active at the time of the Russian invasion of
Afghanistan. RAWA acts to promote women's rights, provides education and health care in Afghanistan and in refugee camps in Pakistan, and organises cultural activities.
RAWA's extensive web site provides in-depth information regarding the RAWA's activities. Hundreds of reports, photos and video fragments provide a picture of the current situation in Afghanistan. The site also includes: songs, poems, and a list of all of the RAWA's publications.
